Summary

The Powder River Basin Mineral Sale is a large oil and gas mineral package for sale in the western-central Powder River Basin (PRB) of Wyoming covering 4,614 net acres under 9,845 gross acres. The map to the right is an overview of the area. The acreage is in Johnson County, Wyoming where EOG, Anschutz, Noble, ATX, and Devon are pursuing aggressive horizontal drilling programs. EOG, a basin leader in horizontal completions, recently completed two source rock wells referenced on the attached map as "the Orbit Wells" – one in the Niobrara (523 MBO & 1.3 BCFG) and the other in the Mowry (742 MBO & 3.0 BCFG). EOG just purchased Samson Resources II LLC lease position in the same area and filed numerous new drilling permits in the immediate vicinity of our mineral package. Three Crown’s PRB mineral package is located adjacent to EOG's Orbit Wells and contains similar prospectivety in nine producing pay zones: the Teapot, Parkman, Sussex, Shannon, Niobrara, Frontier, Mowry, Muddy, and Minnelusa.

1,387 net acres / 3,074 gross are held by production (HBP) by Carbon Creek, EOG, and Anschutz. The acreage, then, is made of of 2,159.25 net acres / 9,947 gross acres covering producing wells, and open acreage, all containing nine untapped deep prospective pay zones.
