Three Crown Petroleum

Three Crown Petroleum, LLC is a small, private oil and gas exploration and exploitation company that was founded in 2005 by H. Howard Cooper. The company has several prospects primarily in and around the Rocky Mountain region and a track record for partnering up with strong, reputable producers in the industry.

Currently, TCP has oil and gas prospects targeting the Heath formation in Montana, the Piceance and DJ Basins in various parts of Colorado, and the Bakken, Mission, and Three Forks formations in North Dakota as well as an active lease acquisition program. TCP recently sold acreage positions in North Dakota’s Williston Basin to Brigham Exploration Company and in Western Colorado’s Piceance Basin to Samson Resources Company.
